Nominations are solicited for a new ACS Physical Chemistry Division Award in Experimental Physical Chemistry. Nominations will accepted only by email sent to the address: acspchem@chemistry.ohio-state.edu. The nominator should include as attachments in a single email a nominating letter, the nominee's curriculum vitae and publication list, and one seconding letter. The deadline for nominations is November 1st. Eligibility is restricted to Physical Chemistry Division Members who have not yet won a National ACS Award at the time of the nomination. Current serving members of the PHYS Division or Subdivision�s Executive Committees are ineligible to be nominated for the award until their service has ended. An individual may serve as nominator for only one nominee in a give year, but may provide seconding letters for multiple nominations. Self-nominations will not be accepted.
The Award winner will be informed of the decision by early next year, in time to deliver an invited talk at the Fall ACS National Meeting, where the Award will be presented. The winner will be provided with up to $1500 to cover expenses associated with attending the ACS meeting at which the invited talk and the award presentation take place.
